Cherry Blossom Festival
Cherry trees bloom between January and June, depending on each region in Japan, but most cherry blossom festivals are held between March and May. The most important festival is the festival in Motobu Yaedake city (februaary 16th - January 7th), Matsuyama Matsuyama Shiroyama Koen city festival (April 2nd-4th), Matsue Jozan Koen festival in Matsue (march 27th - April 15th), Tsuyama Kakuzan Koen festival in Tsuyama (start of April), Koen festival in Koshi Takato Takato-machi Ina (April), Takada Koen town festival in Joetsu (April 2nd - 18th), Kitakami in Kitakami Tenshochi festival (April 15th - May 5th), the festival in Hirosaki Koen Hirosaki (April - May) or festivals in Matsumae Matsumae Koen Park (April - May). This is the big festivals that involve a lot of cherry trees, hundreds of even thousands of cherry trees. In addition, there are also festivals and smaller.
