The first thing we need is :
  1. one can of cherry pie filling (a 16 ounce can is best )( I prefer libby's)
  2. cups of flower ( self rising is best)
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 2 tablespoons of oil (Crisco is best I find)
  5. a fork
  6. A three quart one is best
  7. A rolling pin
  8. a pie pan (9 inch is best)
  9. and a place to work ( usually it is a counter or a table)

When that is done grease up and flour your pan and then put the pie dough that you rolled out in the pan the easiest way is to use your rolling pin and roll the dough on it then place it on the pan and unroll it let the doughball into the pan and take the shape of the piepan keeping in mind that you need a little if the dough to fall on the edges on the pan to seal the crust together then take the other half of the dough rolled out then open the can of cherry pie filling and add it to your pie then take the last of your dough and add it on top of the pie use a little water to seal the crusts together then take you pointer finger and your thumb and crimp them together by pressing your pointer and your thumb together take a knife or use your fork to poke holes in the top bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30-45minuts let it cool then eat.
